Public testing of voting machines for November Statewide General Election The voting machines that will be used for In-office Absentee Voting will be prepared beginning Monday, October 3, 2016 at 8:00 AM.  The voting machines that will be sent to the polls on Election Day will be prepared starting Monday, October 3, 2016 at 8 AM and continuing each day until completed, no later than Wednesday October 5, 2016.  All voting machine preparation will take place at the Dorchester County Elections Warehouse, 235 Deming Way, Summerville, SC 29483. As required by the SC Code of Laws, 7-13-1390, we will also test the Optical Ballot Scanner that will be used to tabulate paper ballots for this election.  We will do so at 10 AM on Monday, October 17, 2016.  This will take place at the Dorchester County Elections Warehouse, 235 Deming Way, Summerville, SC 29483.
