A Special Election for a Local Option Sales Tax referendum will be held concurrently with the above municipal elections. The final day to register to vote is fast approaching. Any person wishing to vote in the November 5, 2013 Municipal Elections in Summerville and Harleyville or the Countywide Referendum Election must register no later than Saturday, October 5, 2013. To register to vote in Dorchester County or update your address and/or other voter registration information: Online NEW! – Register to Vote Online Here Visit our website: http://dorchestervotes.org/register-to-vote/, download, complete, and print the voter registration application, and either: Mail the application to the Dorchester County Registration & Elections Commission at 201 Johnston Street, St. George, SC 29477. (must be postmarked by October 5th), or Fax the application to the Dorchester County Registration & Elections Commission at 843-832-0186 or 843-563-0186 (must be received by October 5th), or Scan the application and email the image as a file attachment to the Dorchester County Registration & Elections Commission at the following email address: vote@dorchestercounty.net (must be received by October 5th).
